İbrahim Sezgin, "ARGUS Defense" Manager, one of the Turkish defense industry companies in Hacettepe Technopolis, explained that they have been conducting R&D studies on ballistic protective materials and tactical equipment for many years.
Explaining that the first example of the state-of-the-art fireproof clothes they developed was used by the special forces 14 years ago, Sezgin said that the new product had the appearance of a normal fabric and could be made in any desired model. Stating that the products were developed entirely with domestic engineers and domestic design, Sezgin said:
“We have increased the non-flammability degree of fabrics to 2 thousand degrees by increasing it by 1,500 degrees using nanotechnology. Our fabrics draw attention with their non-flammability properties for minutes. The usage area of ​​these dresses stands out especially in social events. For example, the fire caused by the Molotov cocktail poses a significant risk. For this reason, all our production standards are ISO?O? We have the quality certificate, we are much higher than the standards in the USA and Europe. The fireproof clothes that we have developed with domestic technology have much more advanced features than the examples in the world.
